Sarge is a real sweetie!!

Sarge came to rescue because he lived in a second story apt and his mom is recovering from a serious illness and is unable to go up and down the stairs to take him out. SARGE is 8+ years old and really needs a nice home where he can retire.

SARGE has a lot of great qualities. He loves to be your couch buddy and snoozing with his foster bulldog brother.

SARGE has the typical bulldog personality - stubborn but worth it. He is housetrained and loves people and other dogs - we wouldn't want him with a puppy that is too energetic, though, because he mostly likes chill-axing.

Sarge's adoption will be limited to the New Jersey, Southeastern PA, Delaware and Maryland area. For information about Sarge or ANY of our adoptable dogs, please visit us at the HeaventSent Bulldog Rescue Official Website. For an application, please visit our Bulldog Adoption Online Application.

Feel free to email us to let us know if you're interested in a specific dog AFTER you have completed an application at hsrescue@aol.com PLEASE try to be patient. If you are a good match for a bulldog, we WILL be in touch. It might be soon, or it might be a few weeks. We appreciate your cooperation!!

Rest in peace Minnie.

Unfortunately, after 2 extensive surgieries, we are sad to report that we lost Minnie. Thank you so much for your prayers and donations. All donations are still very much appreciated and will go to the extensive vet bills. Rest in peace little Minnie.

MINNIE NEEDS YOUR HELP.

Minne need extensive medical help, and we need your help. Please friends, if there's any possible way, make a donation to HeavenSent to help with Minnie's medical bills. Every dollar helps!!

Click here and visit our official site for donation options.

Minnie was a stray picked up by animal control who came to us Tuesday, starved and lethargic but sweet as could be. She had emergency surgery today for pyometra and we found her intestines were perforated and blocked from stomach to colon with debris - we suspect she was abandoned and eating whatever was around her - poor baby girl. Please keep Minnie in your good thoughts and prayers.....

MISSING BULLDOG ALERT - REWARD

Beaumont California Area

Bulldog Friend & Owner,

A bulldog was taken and missing at this point. WE need your "help and eyes" to see if we can get this bulldog home. Whoever has this bulldog may be trying to take the dog to a local vet for medical treatment, offering the dog up for breeding, selling the dog in the parking lot of a gas station or a selling in the parking lot of pet store. There is even a chance the might turn up in an animal shelter near you.

The dog could of been driven out of the area or given to someone that took the dog elsewhere.

Stray bulldogs are rare and someone will remember seeing this dog or hearing of someone offering a 'great deal' on a bulldog. As part of the bulldog community, someone may mention hearing about this bulldog in passing thinking your should know or could offer some advice on the dog.

Any bulldog missing or stolen should be of importance to us all. If thefts are left unchecked or not noticed, it puts other bulldogs at risk for being taken too.

Please share this story on your twitters, facebook and forward to a friend!

Fargo is missing! As of late this afternoon "Fargo is missing". A very friendly dog and life long partner to Greta. Contactors accidently left though a back gate and Fargo walked out unnoticed. He was gone for just a few minutes and not to be found.

We need help to find Fargo. He's in the Beaumont, Ca. (Zip 92223) area and a young dog. He might of strayed form home and end up in a shelter, picked up by someone or at a neighbor's home or friends house for safe keeping.

Fargo is chipped (AVID 036891847).

Contact Garrett 1-909-583-3624 or 1-951-392-6261

Thank you for taking the time to see this and sharing with any friends that would be helpful too. This bullie could be transported over statelines by now or just with in a few blocks where she was taken.

PLEASE send this to a friend and help get the word out.

Sincerely,
Our Bulldog Community

You'll fall in love with Pandora immediately!

PANDORA's story: PANDORA was seized by the PSPCA in a raid on an illegal puppy store. She was kept in a mud-pit in the back of the store or in a crate in a dark garage where the store owners "bred" dogs.

We actually thought she might be pregnant when she came to rescue, but she's not, and she's now been spayed.

Despite her troubled childhood, PANDORA is a FANTASTIC dog. You'll fall in love with PANDORA immediately!

A little about PANDORA from her foster parents:

PANDORA is completely house trained. She hasn't had any accidents since we got her. She goes to the door where we take her out and sits there until we get up. She loves going outside, but she pulls on the leash.

Pandora loves car rides, she is very calm in the car. She will just lays down in the back she doesn't have to be in the window.

PANDORA has loved every person she has come in contact with, in fact, she bullies her foster sister out of the way for attention. We haven't had her near any children, but I think she would be great. She is very calm and gentle. She takes food from your hand nicely and you can take any food or toys from her without her showing any aggression. Her foster sister will steal bones from her and she doesn't even go after her for them. She is a go with the flow type of girl. (Because of her size and strength, however, she'd probably not be good for really little children.)

PANDORA listens very well. She comes and stays when you tell her to. We are working on sit and lay, and not pulling on the leash. She is very smart and I am sure she will learn fast.

Pandora is not a fan of her crate it takes a little encouragement and treats to get her in it, but once she is, she is fine. We have been occasionally leaving her out of her crate and she does very well. She has not chewed anything or had any accidents while being out. (FOR THIS REASON, PANDORA WOULD PREFER A HOME WHERE CRATING IS NOT NECESSARY).

I think Pandora would be best in a home with another dog. She loves the company of Emma(her foster sister). I feel she looks to Emma for guidance. When we first brought her a bone she waited for Emma to touch it before she would. She and Emma play and cuddle very nicely together.

PANDORA is a very happy Dog and she is going to make a family very happy!

GOOD NEWS!

PUNISHER (the missing bulldog in CA) HAS BEEN FOUND!!!

New Bulldog Seeking a Forever Family - Meet Hope!

From Hope's foster family: Hope has really become a house dog and seems to have gotten over her time on the streets well. She has started feeling secure about her surroundings.

Hope enjoys snooping around the house to see what she can find. She has no problem with stairs, either going up or down and she often wanders downstairs to see what our son is up to.

HOPE loves to be around you and either sits next you on your lap or pressed up against your legs if she stays on the floor. She is perfectly house trained and barks when she wants to go out to potty. She loves to give kisses and likes to be scratched behind her ears. A great companion, HOPE takes a little care with her eyes as they need to be cleaned a couple of times a day due to dry eye, but we are working on that!

HOPE LOVES to be the center of attention and takes great joy in sitting in your lap either getting hugs or just being part of things. Hope will do just about anything for chicken strips as they seem to be her favorite treat and she is starting to fill out nicely. Though she's an older gal, she's young at heart and would make a great addition to anyones family.

Hope's adoption will be limited to the New Jersey, Southeastern PA, Delaware and Maryland area. For information about Hope or ANY of our adoptable dogs, please visit us at the HeaventSent Bulldog Rescue Official Website. For an application, please visit our Bulldog Adoption Online Application.

Strathmore, Calif. (KMPH News) - If a dog is man's best friend, in this case Punisher is a valley soldier's best friend.
The problem is the 4-year old English Bulldog is missing. The Tulare County Sheriff's Department says Punisher was taken from his owner's home in Strathmore.

Army Specialist Jose Cardoso is overseas serving his country. His wife, Angie says he feels helpless not being able to help search for Punisher.

This is why she is doing everything possible to find him.

Angie says someone cut a hole in their gate and dragged him out Friday night.

"It's really scary knowing someone took the time to actually cut a hole and drag our dog out. He's a 65 pound dog so it probably hurt him when they squeezed him through the hole," Angie said.

On the other side of the gate Angie found gang graffiti carved in the dirt and Punisher's paw prints not too far from there.

"He's an attractive dog, but I'm afraid they took him maybe to fight or breed him," Angie said. "He's a sweet heart, he's quiet, he sleeps all day, he snores, he's active with the kids but that's about it. I'm afraid they took him for the wrong reasons."

Angie says the most difficult part was telling her husband. Army Specialist Cardoso called from Iraq over the weekend, asking about his buddy.

"He took it really hard," Angie said. "He wasn't able to go to work the next day because he was really irritated. He told me, it needs to sink in that Punisher is gone."

"Punisher is my favorite dog," 5 year-old Roman Cardoso said. "I need him back."

Roman and Julian say their dad and Punisher have a special bond. Punisher stopped eating and lost weight when Specialist Cardoso was deployed in August 2009. Angie says her husband had to mail Punisher an old sock to keep him company until his return. The dog slept with it every night - that was until the day Punisher was taken from their backyard in Strathmore.

"I find it hard to believe that there are heartless people out there that don't realize that a dog isn't just a dog to some people, he was part of our family," Angie said.

A neighbor reported seeing three young men, dressed in black carrying Punisher and running down an alley near White Avenue on January 8th.

It's very important for the Cardoso family to find the English Bulldog. Angie says Punisher is allergic to chicken by-products which is found in most dog food.

"What we are doing right now is offering a reward, no questions asked, drop the dog off, you give me my dog back, I give you cash," Angie said.

If you have seen Punisher or know where he is the Cardoso family is offering a $500 reward for his safe return. To contact them go to www.wherespun.com

You can also call the Tulare County Sheriff's Department at (559) 733-6218.

Bubba4 is a constant source of entertainment!

Are you bored, does life lack purpose, are you in need of a best friend? If so, I am your solution!

My name is Bubba, I am 6 years old and full of life.

My foster mum will tell you that I am a constant source of entertainment - day and night. I can entertain myself with anything you give me be it toys, balls, toilet paper rolls, milk containers, shoes, and my foster parents hands and feet. I get along well with all my foster siblings but much prefer the company and attention of the human kind. I am full of personality, actually I ooze it, and if I don't get enough attention from you, don't worry I'll let you know so you can up the ante.

I am a smart boy and have learned to use the doggy door and can even open a baby gate if not fully closed. I love my foster mum and follow her everywhere - if she goes up the stairs, I am right behind her. If she is relaxing on the sofa watching TV, I am sitting on her lap. And if she move seats to get some space, I move with her because that is what I do.

I am still learning not to jump up on people when I want their attention, so I shouldn't be placed with little kids. I like to chew things, so I'll need a family that picks up after themselves. I suffer from allergies which manifest with skin irritations, ear infections and soft stools. My foster mum takes good care of me and keeps me clean after I go to the bathroom, cleans my ears regularly, wipes my folds daily and even gives me good long belly rubs. I will need a special diet to reduce my allergy symptoms and will need to be monitored closely.

I may not be the most self sufficient bulldog but I am one of the most loyal and fun loving bullies you will ever meet.

Lizzy Needs a Home!

Lizzy was adopted 6 years ago and now finds herself in quite a pickle! She doesn't like the Boston terrier in her home and as she gets older, she has become increasingly aggressive toward him...

She really doesn't like small dogs. Lizzy can tolerate a dog her size or larger in the home but generally prefers human companionship to that of dogs

Of course, this is a problem for Lizzy because she is 12 years old!! She is VERY healthy and has just been to the vet for a complete work-up - she's doing great except that she's homeless.

Can you give Lizzy a nice home where she can spend her golden years without the small dogs that she finds annoying around her? Lizzy is great with people although at her age, she'd rather not deal with young children either.

Lizzy's adoption will be limited to the New Jersey, Southeastern PA, Delaware and Maryland area. For information about Lizzy or ANY of our adoptable dogs, please visit us at the HeaventSent Bulldog Rescue Official Website. For an application, please visit our Bulldog Adoption Online Application.

Video Of Lola!!

Sorry we can't share it right here, But if you click this link you can watch video fo Lola coming home from CBS 3 Eyewitness News!

LOLA IS HOME!!!!

Bulldog Friends & Owners,

Great news to share - Lola is back home again and due large part to the bulldog community pulling together.

Her story made the local news and someone that had found her in New Jersey and took her home with them in Philadelphia, saw the story and called in right away. It appears he found her about a block away from where she lived and took her in so she would not get hit by a car. Don't know if she wondered that far on her own, if someone lured her away or picked her up and left her roadside.

Doesn't matter how she got far enough away to end up in another city, but far more important that she's home and we have good news to share.

We must remember to come together to help and share recources for more happy endings like this to happen.

" Who is happier here? Lola or her mommy?"

Dozer - Olde English Bulldogge

DOZER is a dark brindle and white male Olde English Bulldogge. He turned two years old in June. DOZER has already had a hard life and been passed around, due to no fault of his!!

DOZER is a very sweet boy who is really strong. He is nice to children but doesn't know his own strength so he can knock down little ones without even realizing it! DOZER needs some obedience training because of his strength but he is smart and really a gentle giant. DOZER would LOVE a huge fenced yard where he can run and play. DOZER loves other dogs, too!

Dozer's adoption will be limited to the New Jersey, Southeastern PA, Delaware and Maryland area. For information about Dozer or ANY of our adoptable dogs, please visit us at the HeaventSent Bulldog Rescue Official Website. For an application, please visit our Bulldog Adoption Online Application.

Tammy - A Pretty Girl From Delaware.

We’re not sure who gave the name Tammy to this pretty girl from Delaware. We feel silly calling her that. You may call her any name you like, because Tammy responds to all loving voices, no matter what they are saying.

When we first met Tammy at the shelter, her eyes were crusty from untreated dry eye. Her paperwork stated that her owner could no longer care for her. It looks like she was bred at least once.

Gentle Tammy adores people, including little ones. She does not care for cats. We don’t know how she would feel about living with another dog, but she would definitely thrive as a one-and-only pet. She loves to play with a Jolly Ball and chew on safe, hard products such as sterilized bones or nylabones. Don’t give her any fleece toys, unless you want to see the fleece fly.

Tammy walks with a limp; the vet says it does not bother her. She will need extra patience with house-breaking, but she already snoozes through the night in her crate with no accidents. Her vision is improving immensely as we treat her dry eye condition with drops. Tammy is already breathing easier after much-needed palate trim surgery, and a procedure to open up her nares.

Tammy would love a family where someone is home most of the time

Tammy's adoption will be limited to the New Jersey, Southeastern PA, Delaware and Maryland area. For information about Tammy or ANY of our adoptable dogs, please visit us at the HeaventSent Bulldog Rescue Official Website. For an application, please visit our Bulldog Adoption Online Application.
